And it is 8:00am!!! Yikes that is a switch from the past week when I had a wakeup call at 6:00 in order to follow the tour group leader. But today is all about me....so I take a walk down the street and what do I see....aaaahhhh this is just for my friends at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Airport Hotel.....
Yep...you have a presence...so there should be no excuse Linda....and you too Kelly...for not getting over here and enjoying this great country.....you could also partake in the jet ski, bungi jump, thunder boat racing down the river....or just plain para-sailing....I got news however...my monkey told me to lay off all that...since he was not planning on continuing solo on this journey.
This next offering is for my good friend at Cava....Kostos.....a fashion plate in this area of the world could not be here without a designer shirt from Rapteez....right?
Wow...this guy is everywhere with this shirt today.....
Oh and by the way...over my left shoulder in that picture is the TSS Eaernslaw....the steamship I talked about earlier in the blog.....
Lunch today was out of the history books for me. When I was in college I visited this hamburger joint...Big Bills....and I thought he had the biggest hamburgers....and they were awesome. Today I found competition to him.....this is a one of a kind also. It is only located in Queenstown, NZ....it is Fergburger. Take a look....
Yes folks...there is always a line...it is open from 8:30am to 5:00am....7 days a week!! The Fergburger is prime New Zealand beef, lettuce, tomato, red onion, aioli & tomato relish....and is the size of a small plate!!
Okay..I have to admit...I could only eat 1/2 of the burger (well not even 1/2)....and the chips....not even a 1/4?!! The waitress ask me how I liked it....I said it was awesome...but way too much food....she said to me...."Did you eat breakfast today?"....I said sure....she said..."That was your problem...!"
Okay...off to do laundry and be a lazy bum for the rest of the afternoon!!! Tomorrow I will travel by coach back to Christchurch...spend the night there and then go by train to Picton, NZ where I will catch a ferry to Wellington to begin my tour of the North Island of NZ.
