The food....first a pear/cheese salad...served with a spoon of honey....

Another night I dined at Buca Mario (Buca meaning celler type structures)...the restaurant has been here since 1886....the food was AWESOME.....
...then a game chicken cacciatore....
Now...you will notice in all of this food...I have avoided dessert...it is a sacrifice...I know....but then there is always Gelato (a sin I indulged in many many times). I did check my weight and as you can see I am still under 200....
One final food note...I did cruise thru the Italian version of "Whole Foods"...take a look...
What about shopping.....I figured this meant I will be right back....but instead meant they had "Bach Flowers"...oh well!!
All the major fashion houses have stores in Firenze...this was my view of that on a walk one evening...Gucci (even Gucci for children's wear)
Dior.....
Prada....the Pope's favorite....
Burberry....with it's oh so significant classic designs....
Then there is Giorgio Armani....Nancy's (Pelosi) store...
and etc...etc....etc....
Then this building....that was a pharmacy...and now houses one of the fashion giants....
Okay...you have seen...food....fashion...now some fun pics....here is the primary transportation mode....the motor bike...there are thousands....
the size of the streets could have something to do with that....
Maybe the size of the bus?....
...then the classic mailbox or Post....
