Bangkok Airport...heading to India

Okay heading back to Bangkok Airport in the light of day...so now I really get a view of how large this place really seems to be.....well at least from the Departure Hall anyway.  I knew the size of the Arrival hall, but it had none of the gardens or mini temples...such as...

And the beautiful orchids......

I decided not to take all my luggage to India...and left a bag in the "Left Luggage" area.  It was a bit amusing to me when I asked at the information desk for the location of this area.  I looked this up on the internet, but it was not in the designated spot....so off I go to information.  I asked the young lady for the location and she replied pointing behind me...."walk...walk...walk...walk...right...walk...walk...walk..then left".  How true it was...I turned around and walked...walked...walked....okay you get the picture...finally arriving at the area....but on my way I passed a service where they 'wrap' your bag in clear wrap.  So for $6 in US currency you can have the bag secured.  I did not use this till the return trip when I wrapped my backpack after taking out my computer and then checked it.  Cool idea....here is the wrapper man...

and here is the "walk....walk....walk..." And the "C" letter you see in the center of the photo....is station "C" and it goes to station "Z"...after beginning with "A"...each of the stations accommodating an airline check in area...

Okay one last statue....

In summation I guess the airport while on 4 equal levels...would equate to O'Hare...but all in one terminal structure....Domestic and International.  To get to the departure lounge area you really do....

"walk....walk....walk....walk"!!.........off to India...
